Dr. Stacey L. Duke
Title III Activity Coordinator, Distance Education Coordinator, Associate Professor of Business, Louisiana College
Dr. Stacey Duke serves as the Activity Director and Distance Learning Coordinator for the Title III Investing in Developing Expanded Access (IDEA) Project and also serves as Associate Professor of Business. As a life-long learner, she enjoys teaching and developing curriculum for students and faculty that allow them to learn more about God and about themselves in context of His creation. Her academic interests include leadership developmental, faith-integrated education, and community development.
As a life-long learner, she enjoys teaching and developing curriculum for students and faculty that allow them to learn more about God and about themselves in the context of His creation. Dr. Duke considers it a great privilege to be at Louisiana College to help build tools for the next generation of learners and leaders that will positively impact our community, nation, and the world. She works hard to provide leadership that encourages spiritual development and community-building efforts among colleagues and students.
She has taught business, leadership, and communication courses at several Christian institutions in the graduate and undergraduate programs. Before joining La College, she served as the graduate dean and dean of online programs at John Brown University. She earned her D.S.L. from Regent University in Virginia, an M.B.A. from Bryan College in Tennessee, and a bachelor's degree from Southeastern Louisiana University.
Her academic interests include leadership developmental, faith-integrated education, and community development. She has presented several times at conferences focused on adult learning and Christian Higher Education. She is a member of the Christian Business Faculty Association (CBFA), Christian Adult Higher Education Association (CAHEA), and ACCESS (a community of online Christian educators).
She enjoys traveling; spending time with family & friends; cooking Southern food; and watching British tv, sports & documentaries. She has traveled to 15 countries and is hoping to complete her goal of visiting all continents by visiting Antarctica and Australia in the next few years.
